Hi everybody. Welcome to Home Run Seby Highlights. Today I’m going to talk about the Oakland
Athletics, the A’s. So the A’s. It’s a franchise based in Oakland, California. Their ballpark is the Oakland–Alameda County
Coliseum. It’s a franchise of the American League
who plays in the west division. Since the opening day on March, 28
till now May, 6 2019 they already played 4 games against the
Los Angeles Angels and they won 3 times. 4 games against the Boston Red Sox
and they lost once. They met the Houston Astros for 3 games
and they were swept. 4 games against the Baltimore Orioles
and they won 3 times. Two games against the Texas Rangers
and they lost once. They met the Houston Astros again for 2 games
and they won once. 3 games against the Toronto Blue Jays
and they were swept. They swept the Texas Rangers
in a series of 3 games. They met the Toronto Blue Jays again
and they were swept again. They met the Boston Red Sox for the second
time this season and they were swept. And 3 games against the Pittsburgh Pirates
and they won once. So until now, they already played 36 games. They won 15 times, they lost 21 times and
they scored 169 runs. They are the last of their division. They produced 45 homers. Currently the Seattle Mariners hold the
homers record with 68 home runs. It’s 23 homers more than the A’s. Now, let’s take a look on their last homers. On April 24th against the Texas Rangers, Marcus Semien had hit a homer on a line drive
to left field in the bottom 2nd inning against Kyle Dowdy. Matt Chapman did a homer on a fly ball to
right field in the bottom 5th against Jesse Chavez. The A’s won 6-5. On April 30th against the Boston Red Sox, Robbie Grossman did a homer on a fly ball
to right center field in the top 9th inning against the pitcher Tyler Thornburg. The A’s lost 1-5. May 3rd against the Pirates, Matt Chapman did a homer on a fly ball to
right field in the top 7th inning against Francisco Liriano. Josh Phegley had hit a homer on
a fly ball to left field in the top 9th inning against Richard Rodriguez. The A’s won 14-1. And that’s it. If you speak French you can follow the unofficial
