At uScore, it’s very important for us to continue to encourage our parents of young players to encourage soccer at home how we do that is having a small soccer ball maybe available in a few different rooms throughout your house to where, when kids are going into rooms they have something that they can just touch at their feet and they’re naturally just going to come and see a ball and want to play with it. So you can help us by having those soccer balls available throughout the house and we don’t want them breaking things, we don’t want them kicking balls through windows. So we want to encourage them again have a smaller ball have maybe a softer ball if you want. Encourage them to just come into a room and touch the ball. All right, and you can ask them, You can say “Hey, can you do your toe touches?” And they can just walk around and touch the ball, get comfortable and then maybe they’ll get to the point where they can hop on it a little bit. They also can go into what we call tick-tocks which is just getting the ball in between their feet, little touches and then you can challenge them and say, “Can you do it quicker?” And these are all little things that they can become more and more comfortable on the ball. There’s lots of things that they’re learning in our skills and games program regarding falling in love with the ball the more that you can help them at home. It’s going to benefit them and their overall control of the soccer ball. Remember as parents, we don’t want to just say “Hey, can you kick the ball”, or “show me how you kick the ball” try to ask them to show you how to control the ball, how to touch the ball, how to keep the ball close because those are the things that are going to benefit them in the long run. Thanks for all your support at uScore Soccer and helping us encourage soccer at home. Have a great day.
