Dolphins coach Brian Flores takes responsibility for historic loss

Brian, how do you explain what
happened out there today?>>Well, it starts with the coaches. It starts with me. And, I’ve gotta do a better
job of coaching this team. We’ve gotta play better. It starts with me. So, we’ve got a long way to go. We’ve got a lot of work we have to do. The good thing is we get
to practice tomorrow. We get to practice this week. And we got an opportunity to get better. And that’s the goal,
that’s what we’ll try to do.>>What’s the pressure
to do you saw there?>>We talked about playing penalty free. We talked about having a clean operation. [BLANK_AUDIO] Alignments, assignments,
trying to play turnover-free and we didn’t accomplish anything. We talked about starting fast,
we didn’t accomplish that. But the good thing is, like I just said, we’ll come back
tomorrow, we’ll make the corrections. And we’ll try to get this team better on
a daily basis and that’s all we can do. [BLANK_AUDIO]

  1. I said from day 1 this guy is not the answer. The answer is Ross selling the team and getting us an owner who actually cares about putting a good team together. We are now the Cleveland Browns. A joke and an embarrassment. The fans deserve and demand better results. Fans should boycott all home games.

  2. We better improve. We have the best record in the NFL in 72. If you don't correct this situation quickly you could have the worst season. ever.

  3. What a embarrassment this team is ,they should all get a real job ,they are robbing the fan base the money we are paying for the tickets 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

  4. I’d love for him to take responsibility for partially (Grier) being responsible for assembling the worst team in the history of the NFL. We have 27 rookies on this team and another 15 players who have been in the NFL and never played in a regular season game. How is this team supposed to compete against NFL teams? I’m beginning to seriously doubt that they could beat Clemson or Alabama 10/10 times? The problem with “tanking” is it creates an environment where losing is acceptable. Once that sets in, its nearly impossible to get rid of it without completely gutting the team…AGAIN!! So it becomes this never ending cycle. And, what guarantee do we have that Herbert or Tua are going to be great QB in the NFL? We potentially destroyed this franchise for the next decade or two on the hopes that one of those QB’s is a once in a generational talent. Personally, I don’t see P. Manning, Brady, Luck, Marino, etc…when I watch them play.
